Maksu is a retail brand with a strong focus on product and customer experience, operating both in e-commerce and physical stores. This hybrid model requires a POS solution that is not an isolated system, but a natural extension of e-commerce.

Maksu is growing in the Spanish market, opening new stores in different cities. Their current solution doesn't allow them to implement stores with the agility that characterizes the brand, and it also prevents seamless management between the online and offline experience.

Furthermore, as a brand originating in Turkey, they are looking for a configuration that allows them to manage devices in a unified way and control them remotely.

1. Real omnichannel management

The brand needed power:

  • Identify the same customer regardless of the channel
  • Access your online and offline purchase history from the store
  • Manage stock and orders centrally
  • Place orders with in-store pickup.
  • Being able to use store stock for online sales (and vice versa)

Many traditional POS systems do not allow this unified view.

2. Returns and exchanges

The returns process was critical, especially when:

  • An online purchase was returned in a physical store
  • Flexibility was required without negatively impacting cash flow.

It was essential to offer an agile solution that was aligned with the brand experience.

We thoroughly analyzed Maksu's business needs and retail model to define an optimal Shopify POS implementation strategy, aligned with its growth rate and omnichannel vision.
The goal was to create a unique look and feel, with urban imagery, videos, and interactive sections that would provide a rich and distinctive experience. A vibrant, coherent, and memorable identity, capable of reflecting Noirfonce's authenticity in every digital interaction.

We evaluated different device packages based on in-store operations, scalability, and ease of use. Ultimately, Maksu opted for the Sunmi T3 Pro devices, a robust solution ready for an omnichannel retail environment, for which Rocket Digital is an official partner.

We configured Shopify to adapt it to the actual operations of the business, including:

  • Definition of locations and operational permissions (in-store pickup, web orders from store, etc.).
  • Catalog and price management by market using Shopify Markets.
  • Unification of stock, customers and orders between online and offline channels.

Following the implementation of Shopify POS, Maksu has achieved a unified view of its business, effectively integrating online and offline operations into a single platform.

This has made it possible to identify customers across all channels and access their complete purchase history, regardless of whether the transaction takes place in ecommerce or in a physical store.

Store operations have been significantly simplified, making the sales process faster and more efficient for the teams, while simultaneously improving the customer's shopping experience. One of the key aspects of the project has been the optimization of returns and exchanges management, which is now carried out efficiently and flexibly, including the option to offer in-store credit without creating operational friction or negatively impacting cash flow.


Furthermore, Maksu now has greater control and traceability over sales and stock by channel and location, facilitating more informed decision-making aligned with business growth. The implemented solution is designed for agile scalability, allowing for the opening of new stores or future expansions without requiring structural changes to the technological architecture.

Looking ahead to future phases, this project has not only resolved Maksu's immediate operational challenges, but also established a solid foundation for the brand's strategic growth.
